‘Fashionista’ Make Up Tutorial

I had the pleasure to host again the VIP Room at Volstead, now called ‘WILLA’S”.

The night “FASHIONISTA” was brought by ‘Terry-James Lynch’ who is the Stylist Service/Personal Shopping Manager for Topman UK & US and also the founder of FeroFero.com.

The DJ was my favourite one at the moment ‘Kris Di Angelis‘  (Check out his fan page on Facebook). Here a picture in all his hotness and fierceness ♥

So, I wasn’t planning to do a make up tutorial using this look, but then I realised that it would have been a nice make up if you are interested in fashion and androgynus style. I took my camera and I started recording not realising I only had 40 minutes to do it!

I managed to do it though I actually like the editing of this video… It’s quicker and clear. I didn’t talk a lot as this time I wanted to focus more on the make up and techniques.

The dress has been designed by me and ‘copied’ from the video ‘Hush Hush Hush Hush’ by Pussycat Doll. It’s been created by my two lovely friends Andrew Robertson and Joshua Castro. Andrew Roberston also creates these amazing ‘knitted hand-bags’  branded ‘Carry-Couture’ that I used in one of my photoshoots.

My new Nail Varnish: ‘Propaganda’ by Illamasqua

So, as you probably saw on my Facebook the other day I went to the Illamasqua counter to choose a new Nail Varnish.

I already have ‘Glory’ and it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s an amazing shimmer silver and you can check the picture here.

So I went in front of the counter (Selfridges)  and believe me I didn’t know what to do. There was such a large range of colours and every single one was absolutely gorgeous. I tried 4 different colours on until I finally decided to purchase the one called ‘Propaganda’. It’s a mat dark blue and I am in love with it!

Modern 1920′s Make Up Tutorial

I had so much fun re-creating this make up! It’s the same one I used last year when I hosted New Year’s Party @ Beach Blanket Babylon in Shoreditch (London). Here some photos of the night

Watching this photos I’m realising I shouldn’t have put that red/pink blush…. there’s always time to learn!

I actually love these lips better than the ones on my new video… As you can see the eyebrows are higher as I also half covered them. But now my real eyebrows are thinner so I thought I wouldn’t have needed to cover them!
